This PHP is designed for individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis, which may include generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar, OCD or PTSD.

Co-Occurring Trauma PHP

This program is intended for clients who are experiencing issues related to mental health, complex trauma, and addiction. This program provides an intensive level of care for individuals in need of structure and support to stabilize mental health symptoms, decrease substance use, and manage acute symptoms following recent traumatic experiences. Clients are encouraged to work towards decreasing substance use while addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. This program strives to use evidence-based practices to assist clients to move to a sustainable life of healing and growth.

Our Center City location offers intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for adults (ages 18+). The IOP program provides a more structured program than weekly counseling sessions with a therapist. The core IOP treatment method involves group therapy sessions—individual and family counseling sessions can be scheduled on an as-needed basis. High Focus Centers utilizes a variety of therapies, such as:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Group processing
  • Skill-building exercises

Our counselors work to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that best meets the individual’s mental health needs. Our dual diagnosis IOP treatment is a comprehensive approach for treating substance use disorders that co-occur with other mental illnesses, such as anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The goal of dual diagnosis treatment is to help clients with these co-occurring disorders learn how to manage both illnesses.
